// why it matters now

Computer science is one of the world's highest-paying fields. Most students opt out before they ever really try.

They decide at 14 or 15 that coding is "too technical", "too abstract", "not for people like me", and a door quietly closes. Meanwhile, teachers are told to "use AI" with no real training, and the gap between classrooms and the world keeps growing. Different Track exists to close both gaps.

From Intel and the IMF to Room 213

Ms. Egbal Mohamed knows the reluctant learner from the inside, because she was once terrified of standing in front of a room of teenagers. She came from the tech world, built a full middle- and high-school computer science department from nothing, and discovered the bridge that turns "this is not for me" into "how far can I go?"

She holds a Master of Education in Educational Technology, a MicroMasters in Instructional Design, and a teaching certificate, and she still teaches every single day. Nothing on this site is theory.

Map the right track

A short conversation to understand your goal: an AP score, a confident learner, or a staffroom ready for AI.

Start with a first session

Students begin with a free taster class. Schools begin with a scoped workshop plan. You'll know quickly if it's the right fit.

// in a student's own words

What happens behind the doors of the classroom

"Computer science was something I never thought I'd actually enjoy. Learning Python in your class this year has been an honor, and I'd gladly do it again any day… What I've learned behind the door of Room 213 I will carry forward. You've made Grade 9 something else entirely, in a good way."

One of Grade 9 Students · end-of-year letter

Students who joined the class only because other electives were full have left planning careers in computer science.
